adminThe victory of Muhafazati Foundation for Volunteering and Training in the first cycle of the “Youth Empowerment Windows” Initiative came as a culmination of its pioneering efforts in empowering youth and enhancing their participation in building a democratic society.
This initiative, launched by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, was part of the celebrations marking the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the University of Jordan, during which His Majesty outlined the features of this ambitious program in his Fourth Discussion Paper, published in June 2013.
In the paper, His Majesty emphasized the importance of reinforcing the concept of active citizenship and establishing the foundations of genuine democratic empowerment, so that youth become the beating heart of development and positive change.
